We designed the Woodside XL Lodge to provide more space while retaining the comfort and simplicity of a garden lodge.
With 72m² of internal floor space, the layout includes two double bedrooms, a walk-in shower room, a utility area and an open-plan kitchen and lounge with a breakfast bar. As a result, it provides a practical, low-maintenance home designed for comfortable long-term living.

What Was Included
All the Essentials, Finished to a High Standard
We designed every part of this lodge to provide convenience, practical storage and everyday comfort, creating a complete home that is ready to move into.
Two Double Bedrooms
Each bedroom comfortably accommodates a double bed and includes a built-in sliding wardrobe, providing practical storage without taking up valuable floor space.
Open Plan Kitchen
The kitchen includes fitted cabinets, worktops and space for appliances, together with a breakfast bar for casual dining.
Utility Area
A separate utility area within the kitchen provides space for laundry appliances, additional storage and cleaning essentials.
Open Plan Lounge
The open-plan living area connects seamlessly with the kitchen and provides plenty of space for comfortable seating, a television and everyday living.
Walk-In Shower Room
The spacious shower room includes a sunken shower tray, high-quality fittings and an accessible layout for greater comfort and ease of use.
SIPs Construction
We manufacture the entire lodge using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), creating a strong, durable structure with excellent insulation for comfortable year-round living.
Screw-Piles
Installed quickly and cleanly with minimal disruption to the garden.
Full Service Connection
Connected to mains electricity, water and foul drainage, with all trenching and reinstatement handled by our team.
Electrical Certification
Tested and signed off by a qualified electrician with a Part P certificate provided.

From the initial site visit through to final handover, we managed each stage through a clear and efficient process.

Design and Site Survey
First, we confirmed the layout and key features during the site visit and planning stage.

Groundworks and Utilities
Next, our team completed the trenching, prepared the mains service connections and installed the screw-pile foundations.

Main Structure
Next, we assembled the SIPs walls and roof before fitting the windows, quickly bringing the lodge to the watertight stage.

Internal Fit Out
Once the lodge was watertight, we installed the internal partition walls, electrics, plumbing, kitchen and fitted wardrobes according to the agreed plan.

Finishes and Testing
Finally, we skimmed the walls and ceilings, fitted the flooring and skirting boards, and then tested and certified the completed service installations.
